"When in Bloom"

When in Bloom is a painting that I started when I was on a course at another artist. So the process of making the painting is different than I usually do. Behind the paint hide pieces of paper that help create the background, and hopefully give some life to the painting. Large parts of the painting are painted based on 2 colors - a burgundy and an ochre yellow that are mixed with each other and with white and black crisscross. Later I added other colors, but the tone is kept in the original shades.
