"Pleasure"

Pleasure is part of a series of 3 images that were created for an exhibition at Dyrehøj Galleri (at Røsnæs), where I portrayed 3 places that mean something very special in my life.

Home is my home in Hillerød, and the motif is my interpretation Batzkes Bakke. Leisure is our lovely cottage in Sweden and the motif is taken from the gravel road in Norra Haghult outside Markaryd. Pleasure is from Barcelona which we love to visit and the motif is from our street in the district of Gracia.

All 3 paintings are square of about 1 meter by 1 meter. I have especially worked with perspective and colors. Dyrehøj Galleri is located in connection with Dyrehøj Vingård and therefore deliberately worked with a red-wine-red color.
