About Me

I was born and raised in Denmark, and this is also where I make my art. But I love to travel and experience new cultures and people, and this is also where I find inspiration for many of my works.

Curiosity is the keyword in my artistic work. It can be curiosity about shapes, colors, or motifs. I often aim to bring out some textual substance in my images – especially when I work with mixed media such as paper, newspaper, pencils, and so on.  

In addition to working as an artist, I also teach young people in art and design. Here I try to inspire them to see the many possibilities within the visual arts.

I paint because it makes sense – It makes me happy.
